Funds are needed to fulfill our mission of combating blight and deterioration in the community and to contribute to the advancement of community life. Federal, state, local and/or private funding is sought to:
- Renovate 1228 South Jackson Street in order to open a licensed child development center and to expand the clothes closet
- Host relative field trips and scholarships
- Enhance Youth Development programs
- Provide additional Adult Services programs
- Purchase new computers for computer lab with 5-year maintenance contract
- Sponsor Bates X-Travaganza and youth conference
- Build/secure a Family Life Center for multi-purpose activities i.e. adult day care, child care center, athletic/recreational activities, mission/outreach service center, workshops/training, banquets/receptions, community events, etc.
