Dare to Care Food Distribution
Fresh produce from Dare to Care is available for distribution every Friday at 1228 South Jackson Street, 9:30am to noon. This program serves the residents of the Smoketown and Shelby Park neighborhoods. A picture ID is required.
Grab-N-Go Saturday Midday Meal
A nutritious meal is prepared and served to the community at 1228 South Jackson Street, every Saturday from noon to 2pm. Adults and seniors are welcomed to dine in or carry out their meal. Children under age 18 are served on site. A picture ID is required.
Fit Food with a Flair Cooking Class
Join us while we help you prepare a meal for 4 to take home to your family! Classes take place from 4:30 to 6 PM at the Smoketown Family Wellness Center located at 760 S. Hancock St. Suite B100. Thanksgiving Community Dinner
Bates CDC will serve Thanksgiving meals to residents of the Shelby Park and Smoketown neighborhoods at 1228 South Jackson Street. Residents are invited to join us for turkey and dressing with all the trimmings as we celebrate and give thanks for our many blessings.
