The Bates Community Development Corporation (BCDC) with headquarters located at 1228 South Jackson Street (former worships site of Bates Memorial Baptist Church) is a 501 C (3) entity with a mission to engage in a wide range of community development activities and provide social services for the purposes of combating blight and deterioration in the Louisville Metropolitan area and to contribute to the advancement of community life. Our Mission

The mission of BCDC is to provide services that will have a positive impact on society. Our goals are to:

  • Promote personal and professional and spiritual growth through skill development seminars
  • Foster active, healthy lifestyles
